Mémoire Vive offers an original way of visiting the city of Bagnols-sur-Cèze: with an innovative smartphone application, it is possible to wander through the memories and stories of the city.

The application Mémoire Vive allows to "walk your story" and to get your own movie just... by walking !
You decide where to go, how you want to walk, and our application follows your footsteps and delivers you an "interactive" story, in real-time !

Start the mobile application, walk, listen and get multiple stories from the city, from the people that live in it: the audio-visual memory of the city is unveiling its secrets and treasures just for you. Each walk, therefore each story and movie is unique.

Walk and listen: the smartphone application is recording your path and choosing the already existing audio-visual fragments that are virtually existing around you. Walk fast: you will get a dynamic movie made out of short videos; you take time at some places, and the rythm of the movie is adapting to your behaviour, becoming slower and more insightful.

You do not have to take images or videos: the content is already existing under your feet - the Mémoire Vive application is recording your path though the built-in GPS.

Once you "walked your movie", you can directly watch it in the application and discover the images of the story you just experienced. You can then publish your movie on Internet to be able to see it on a website and to share it to your community.

Mémoire Vive is intended to be used only in the city of Bagnols-Sur-Cèze to deliver the best experience, but it can be tested anywhere in the world - just notice that the results wont make sense with you own context.
